We flew from El Paso to Perth, Australia to board the Crown Princess cruise ship on a 17-day voyage around western, northern and eastern Australia. Our friends Doug & Sally Borrett joined us in LAX where we boarded a Qantas flight to Sydney; had a brief layover before flying to Perth. The cruise took us from Perth to Exmouth, then to Broom, Darwin, Cairns, Brisbane and Sydney. Two of the days were scenic cruising around the Kimberly Coast and Willis Island. A planned stop in Port Douglas was cancelled due to rough seas. While in Darwin we took one of the ship excursions to Litchfield National Park. One last note: I celebrated my 77th birthday on this cruise.
