Visiting Kim & Wayne in Calgary – July 1994

The was a trip we made to Calgary in Alberta, Canada to visit Kim & Wayne and to deliver Kim’s belongings to her. She moved to Calgary with Wayne during the summer of 1994 before her graduation from college at Hofstra University in New York.

Monterey DLI (Marines) – July 1991


My parents and I visited my son Steve, at the DLI (Defense Language Institute) in Monterey Bay, CA. He was there to learn to write and speak Arabic. we went on a day hike and visited the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Ecuador/Galapagos – March 1991


This is a trip Carol & I took. We were on a river boat for a few days in Ecuador and took several excursions during the cruise. We then flew to the Galapagos Islands, got on a cruise ship and sailed to several of the islands, seeing all sorts of wildlife during the trip. This is one of the places in the world you do not want to miss.

Paris Island (Steve – Marines) – January 1990


My parents & I went to my son (Steve)’s graduation from the Defense Language Institute in Monterey, Ca. We also visited the pier; drove the 17 miles around Pebble Beach golf course and toured the Monterey Bay Aquarium.

Disneyworld – November 1987


Carol & I took Kim & Steve to Disney World. Carol was attending a teachers’ conference, so we made the best of the trip. Audrey was in college and not able to join us.

Tahiti/French Polynesia – March 1986


This was the first cruise Carol & I took together. We flew to Papeete and boarded the cruise which went to several islands in French Polynesia. The pictures tell the story from there.

Brazil – March 1985


Carol & I took this trip to Rio because we thought it was an exotic place to visit. We were right. We took the tramway to Sugarloaf Mountain; visited Christ the Redeemer statue, Copacabana & Ipanema Beaches, and a place where they store the costumes for the famous “Carnival” which is held annually.

Western US / Acapulco – July 1978


This was a family trip with the three kids. Carol & I drove from Hershey, Pa. to El Paso, TX, stopping to see various sites along the way. Upon arrival, we left the kids with my parents and flew to Acapulco. Upon our return we drove back to Hershey, by way of the Grand Canyon and the Petrified Forest National Parks.
