NASG Convention – Norwich, CT – August 2025

I flew into Bradley International Airport and took an Uber to the Holiday Inn Norwich, where I joined fellow members of the NASG (National Association of S Gaugers) for the annual convention. The first two days were devoted to sightseeing before the train show began.

Day 1 featured visits to Mystic Seaport, the Olde Mistick Village, and the Mystic Aquarium.
Day 2 included a scenic ride on the Essex Steam Train, followed by a tour of the Shore Line Trolley Museum. Both days offered interesting and enjoyable experiences.

On Friday, my son Steve came to visit, and together we attended a clinic on LED lighting before exploring the train show in the main ballroom. Saturday was filled with clinics, club meetings, and concluded with the convention banquet.

Overall, the trip was a great mix of learning and fun, and I came away with a deeper appreciation for American Flyer S Gauge trains.
