Donna and Carey, and her mother Barb, loaded our car, including our two dogs and drove 670 miles to attend the wedding of Donna’s son Chris to his fiancé Alexis in a small chapel in the Arlington Heights area in late December. The wedding was preceded by a informal dinner on Friday night after which we all went to a comedy club for some light entertainment. After the wedding on Saturday there was a formal reception at Chris’ home in Dallas. Everything went very well. Donna, Barb & I stayed at Jan’s (Donna’s sisters) home in McKinney, TX before and after the ceremonies. We also spent time before and after the wedding playing pickleball, visiting other relatives, and walking our dogs on trails in Jan’s neighborhood.
